Diving Among Eagle Rays
Cantarell Wall, also known as Eagle Ray Wall, is a popular dive site located in the north of Cozumel, Mexico. It is renowned for its spectacular underwater scenery and diverse marine life, particularly the Spotted Eagle Rays that frequent the area during the winter months.
December until the end of February the eagle rays may be found here as the females come to mate. An amazing dive as at times you may be surrounded by a dozen or so or eagle rays. Depth: 40 to 100 ft.
Marine biologist are constantly collecting data, including documenting sightings- if you see an eagle ray, date, time, location, and any other interesting observations and submit all data to Research. Scientists still do not know exactly why they come in the winter months, but most years a group gathers at Cantarell
