OPEN WATER COURSE + E-LEARNING

The PADI Open Water Diver Course is the most popular entry level scuba certification that, once completed, allows you (aged 10+) to dive anywhere the underwater world takes you for life. The course consists of three parts: knowledge development, confined water dives, and open water dives that can be completed in 2+ days. The Knowledge Development covers the principles, concepts and terms you need to know for dive safety and enjoyment. The Confined Water Dives allow you to learn and practice scuba skills in a pool or water with pool-like conditions. You’ll enjoy making one or more minidives, which take you through the same steps you follow when you make open water dives as a certified diver. To complete the training, you will apply and demonstrate what you learned during 4 Open Water Dives at some of the dive sites within the Cozumel Marine Park. All equipment necessary is included in the course.

As a PADI Open Water Diver, you’ll be trained to a maximum depth of 18 metres/60 feet, and are qualified to dive in conditions as good as, or better than, those in which you trained. It’s just the beginning of a lifetime filled with diving adventures.
