The PADI Open Water Course is the most popular entry level scuba certification that, once completed, allows you to dive anywhere the underwater world takes you for life.
PADI Open Water Course consists of three parts: knowledge development, confined water dives, and open water dives that can be completed in 2+ days. The Knowledge Development covers the principles, concepts and terms you need to know for dive safety and enjoyment.
Confined Water Dives allow you to learn and practice scuba skills.
In Cozumel the ocean is as calm as swimming pool conditions.
To complete the training, you’ll demonstrate what you learned during 4 Open Water Dives at some of the dive sites within the Cozumel Marine Park.
As a PADI Open Water Diver, you’ll be trained to a maximum depth of 18 metres/60 feet, and are qualified to dive in conditions as good as, or better than those in which you trained. It’s just the beginning of a lifetime filled with diving adventures.
After getting certifided and diving in cozumel you will always want to come back for more.
